Mariah: One Indoor Portrait

Hi Mariah- Here is one of your portraits...hopefully you got the contact sheet of the whole shoot! Having an indoor studio is imminent in South Dakota...Not only do I love photography, but I love the creativity I have with indoor lights and trying new things. This was also shot with the new 5D! Hopefully everyone got the invite to the Bridal Show in January!

2008...a SUCCESS!

I want to thank all my clients from the year 2008. What a great year! I was looking back at 2007, when my business started, I shot many different things...Weddings, Seniors, Pets, Families, Bulls, etc. I had 25 photo-shoots in 2007, and this year I doubled that number. This year, I shot numerous weddings, plenty of seniors, and many familes. It was a great year for Schuldt Imagery! 2009 boasts an even heavier load...12 weddings booked and seniors have formed a line for Schuldt Imagery to take their pics. I was chosen to represent Schuldt Imagery at the Black Tie Bridal Showcase at the Sioux Falls Convention Center this January and is collaborating on a few projects for downtown Sioux Falls.
I cannot wait to see what 2009 holds for Schuldt Imagery! New products, some new camera essentials, and new fresh ideas are just waiting to be unleashed for the first wedding on the docket. Ducks and Geese

I had heard quite a buzz about Arrowhead Park in Eastern Sioux Falls, and I had never really shot wildlife. I do have to say, if you have never been there...you should make an appearance. I basically had the day to myself to go out and enjoy the warm December day. All my photo-shoots for the year are through, so I thought I would go out and photograph some birds. I also receive my 5D today, so I am testing that too...here is a shot (70-200 2.8, 200ISO, 1/1000)

Zephier's Photo Shoot: Senior

Joney and I took to the inside for the 1st part of her senior photo shoot. We first went to the studio for the formals, then to the Pavilion and the Old Courthouse Museum for the others...why didn;t we go outside, it was 17'. I had a great time, can't wait till it gets warmer, Matt

When you put a 2.5 year old in charge of the Christmas decorating...you get: 1. A lot of emotion, 2. 6 ornaments right next to each other and 3. A lot of fun!

I was testing out my 50mm 1.4 with a 1/2000 shutter, bounced flash (ettl), with the 580EX. Mom was downstairs doing the laundry, I do not condone jumping off the bed :)

Bitsie- 3 years old!

This is our smooth Collie, Bitsie. I am sure you have seen her on other posts, but now she is considered an adult, 21 in human years!

Writing with Light!

At WHS we have the great opportunity and technology to do things that other schools might not be able to do. We did a cool experiment with light (flashlight) and a 30 second shutter speed. No student faces are posted on the blog without the written permission...and its to dark to see them anyway :)
